1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Yiyagi ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Yiyagi is an AI-powered platform that transforms personal life stories into novels. The service includes AI-guided interview sessions (5 sessions covering 8-10 life topics), AI-powered novel generation, and digital delivery of the completed novel as a downloadable PDF. The service is a one-time purchase — there are no subscriptions or recurring charges.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Yiyagi, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are purchasing the service as a gift, the recipient must also be at least 18 years old.

4. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

5. Purchase & Payment

  • The Novel product is priced at $99.00 USD (one-time payment)
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Prices are subject to change, but any price change will not affect orders already placed
  • You will receive an email confirmation upon successful payment

6. Refund Policy

  • Full refund — Available if you have not yet started the interview process. Contact us within 30 days of purchase.
  • No refund — Once you have started the interview process (submitted at least one answer), the service is considered used and is not eligible for a refund, as AI processing resources have been consumed.
  • Quality issues — If you are dissatisfied with the quality of your generated novel, contact us and we will work with you to regenerate or improve the content.

7. Gift Purchases

You may purchase the Service as a gift for another person. When purchasing a gift:

  • The recipient will receive an email invitation with instructions to create an account
  • Gift invitations expire 30 days after purchase
  • The recipient must accept the invitation and create an account to begin the interview process
  • Refund requests for gift purchases follow the same refund policy above, based on whether the recipient has started their interview

8. Your Content & Ownership

Your interview content — You retain full ownership of all life story content you share during interviews, including text responses, voice recordings, and uploaded photos and videos. By using the Service, you grant Yiyagi a limited license to process this content solely for the purpose of generating your novel and providing the Service.

Generated novel — The AI-generated novel created from your interviews belongs to you. You may use, share, print, or distribute your novel as you wish. We retain no ownership rights over your generated novel content.

9. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The novel is generated by artificial intelligence based on your interview responses. While we strive for high quality, please note:

  • AI may occasionally produce content that does not perfectly reflect your intended meaning
  • The novel is a creative interpretation of your life story, not a factual record
  • Names, dates, and specific details may occasionally be inaccurate in the generated text
  • The quality of the output depends significantly on the detail and depth of your interview responses

10. Media Uploads

You may upload photos and videos during the interview process. By uploading media, you represent that you own or have the right to share these files. Uploaded media is stored securely and may be used in future content services (such as video memoirs) if you opt in. You can delete uploaded media at any time through the interview interface.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Share content that is illegal, threatening, defamatory, or violates others' rights
  • Impersonate another person or share someone else's life story without their consent
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures or abuse the platform
  • Use automated tools or bots to interact with the Service
  • Upload media containing illegal content or content you do not have the right to share

12. Intellectual Property

The Yiyagi brand, logo, website design, and underlying technology (including AI models, code, and algorithms) are the property of Yiyagi. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the right to use the Service as intended.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yiyagi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, dissatisfaction with AI-generated content quality.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We may retain your data as required by law or legitimate business interests, subject to our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
